Samsco RunDry (Boil-To-Dry)
The Samsco RunDry wastewater evaporator system is a low-investment, wastewater minimization system that achieves “ZLD” from your wastewater disposal process: no measurable water is left at the end of the process, thus, Zero Liquid Discharge.
The RunDry’s unique “double boiler” tank design evaporates the wastewater leaving only a dry powder or oily sludge for disposal. Specific features include:
- Double boiler tank design allows virtually all water to evaporate
- Oil-immersed tank heat exchanger is thermostatically controlled, allowing waste to concentrate and solids to fall—harmlessly—on the tank floor for easy residue removal
- Large heat transfer surface distributes heat evenly across all four sides and bottom
- Redundant safety controls
- Heating elements are immersed in thermal fluid preventing heater contact with wastewater
- Stainless steel wetted parts and exterior tank
- Self-leveling feet
- Optional auto-fill, lift-out sludge trays, and sludge tray spreader bars
